Be careful what you wish for… some wishes refuse to stay buried.

In a remote European village shrouded in fog and grief, master woodcarver Geppetto lives a lonely existence after the tragic death of his young son. Consumed by sorrow and unable to accept his loss, he retreats from the world, spending his days carving lifelike wooden figures that remind him of the child he can never hold again. As the years pass, his obsession with bringing his son back grows darker and more dangerous.
Desperate for a miracle, Geppetto seeks forbidden knowledge hidden within ancient texts and forgotten rituals. Ignoring warnings from villagers and scholars alike, he performs a mysterious ceremony beneath a blood-red moon, pouring every ounce of his grief, love, and desperation into a handcrafted puppet. What begins as an act of hope soon awakens forces beyond human understanding.

The following morning, Geppetto discovers the impossible. The puppet is alive. It moves, speaks, and watches him with curious eyes. Overwhelmed with emotion, Geppetto names the creation Pinocchio and convinces himself that fate has finally answered his prayers. For the first time since his son’s death, he believes happiness may still be possible.
Yet something is terribly wrong. Pinocchio learns at an unnatural speed, studying human behavior with unsettling fascination. While Geppetto sees innocence, others notice a disturbing emptiness behind the puppet’s smile. He understands words like love, loyalty, and family, but he cannot grasp their true meaning. Instead, he interprets them through a twisted and increasingly violent perspective.
Soon, strange disappearances begin to plague the village. Livestock are found mutilated in the woods, and travelers vanish without explanation. Fear spreads through the community as rumors of a monstrous figure emerge from the shadows. Witnesses describe seeing a small wooden boy standing silently near the scenes of the attacks before disappearing into the darkness.

As the body count rises, local authorities summon renowned investigator Elias Grimm, a relentless detective known for solving seemingly impossible crimes. Grimm arrives determined to uncover the truth, but the deeper he investigates, the more he realizes that the killings defy all logic. Every clue points toward an impossible suspect.
Meanwhile, Pinocchio becomes increasingly possessive of Geppetto. Viewing anyone who approaches his creator as a threat, he begins eliminating those he believes could take his father’s love away. To Pinocchio, every murder is an act of devotion. Every victim is simply another obstacle removed from the family he desperately wants to preserve.
The village descends into chaos as terror spreads through its narrow streets. Churches fill with frightened worshippers seeking protection, while angry mobs search the forests with torches and weapons. Yet the killer always remains one step ahead, moving through the darkness with supernatural speed and an eerie understanding of human fear.

As Grimm closes in on the truth, he uncovers the horrifying origins of Pinocchio’s creation and realizes that the puppet is connected to ancient forces that were never meant to enter the mortal world. Worse still, the ritual that gave Pinocchio life may have opened a doorway for something far older and more sinister than Geppetto ever imagined.
Geppetto is eventually forced to confront the devastating reality that the creature he loves is not the son he lost. The puppet may wear the face of innocence, but it has become a ruthless predator fueled by obsession and a warped desire for affection. Torn between fatherly love and responsibility, Geppetto faces an impossible choice.
The nightmare reaches its bloody climax inside the woodcarver’s workshop where creator and creation finally stand against one another. As flames consume the building and dark secrets are revealed, Geppetto must decide whether he has the strength to destroy the miracle he begged for. In a battle of grief, guilt, and horror, only one question remains: when a wish becomes a monster, can love survive long enough to stop it?
